Become part of a dynamic international network of emergency management professionals.

The global landscape of emergency management continues to evolve, presenting complex and interconnected challenges. Climate change is exacerbating existing risks, driving more frequent and intense extreme weather events — hurricanes, floods, wildfires, and droughts — that displace populations, damage infrastructure, and disrupt economies. Alongside these, persistent threats such as pandemics expose the fragility of global health systems and underscore the need for robust preparedness. Cyberattacks pose a growing danger to critical infrastructure, while geopolitical instability and conflict fuel humanitarian crises that strain resources and demand coordinated international responses.

Effective emergency management today requires a holistic approach — one that accounts for interconnected risks, promotes proactive preparedness, and fosters collaboration across sectors and borders to build resilient communities.

At TIEMS, we are committed to a world where communities are empowered to prepare for and respond to emergencies effectively. Whether you are a seasoned expert or just beginning your journey in this field, you will find a supportive community, valuable resources, and meaningful opportunities for professional growth. Together, we are building resilience, one community at a time.
